FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY POLICY<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our objective<\/strong> is to produce and distribute innovative, high-quality products whose name will become synonymous with high quality, authenticity and safety. This objective is ensured through the implementation of integrated Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, in accordance with the requirements of the international standards IFS Food v.8 and ISO 22000:2018, as well as other recognized certification schemes related to the Company\u2019s operations. <\/p>

The Management of Nikolopoulou Foods<\/strong> is committed to the following principles:<\/p>

  • Providing and allocating all necessary resources for the effective implementation, continuous improvement and updating of the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.<\/li>
  • Maintaining the infrastructure, facilities and working environment in excellent condition.<\/li>
  • Focusing on our customers with responsibility and respect, while continuously striving to increase their level of satisfaction.<\/li>
  • Continuously training and raising awareness among personnel regarding the proper implementation of the Management Systems.<\/li>
  • Continuously improving the effectiveness of processes related to food safety and quality.<\/li>
  • Ensuring the hygiene, safety and quality of products through the faithful implementation and continuous verification of established procedures.<\/li>
  • Monitoring and complying with relevant legislation, as well as with defined food safety and quality indicators.<\/li>
  • Maintaining open and meaningful communication channels with suppliers and customers.<\/li>
  • Managing complaints, failures and deviations as opportunities for continuous improvement.<\/li>
  • Conducting regular internal meetings aimed at exchanging knowledge, experience and best practices.<\/li>
  • Systematically monitoring critical control points and operational prerequisite programmes.<\/li>
  • Continuously researching and developing new products, as well as improving the services provided.<\/li>
  • Adopting ethical and responsible business conduct, with respect for people, the environment and society.<\/li>
  • Ensuring that products consistently meet the criteria of safety, quality, authenticity and legality.<\/li>
  • Complying with the requirements of specific standards and certification schemes, such as Vegan Society, Halal, Kosher and ISO 14001:2015, as well as schemes that promote Greek identity, domestic production and local added value, such as \u201cElladika Mas\u201d, where applicable.<\/li>
  • Developing and strengthening a food safety and quality culture at all levels of the Company.<\/li>
  • Promoting environmental awareness and responsible practices, taking into account the modern challenges of Climate Change and their impact on the Company\u2019s operations and strategic planning.<\/li><\/ul>

    In addition, as part of its continuous improvement efforts, the Company identifies threats and opportunities, evaluates them and sets objectives to minimize threats and take advantage of opportunities. At the same time, by identifying internal and external factors, as well as interested parties and their points of interest, the Company clearly defines the framework of its operations.<\/p>
